Organized by the Association of Social Policies Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation Studies (SPoD), the Disabled LGBTI Days are beginning.
The events that will combine Disability Week and May 17 International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia will be held from May 17-19 and 20.
SPoD’s Disabled LGBTI Working Group has been bringing the disability movement together with the LGBTI movement since 2013. The group aims to change the “mandatory healthy body” perspective and value judgements, and assemble the Disabled LGBTIs under the same roof. (NV/TK)
