MHP Leader Publishes Names of Opposition Figures

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chair Devlet Bahçeli has “thanked” the figures, whom he claimed to have “defamed, accused wrongly” the MHP, with a full page advertisement published on the newspapers today (June 26).

Bahçeli’s message starts with the following words:

“The respected people (!) whose names are written below acquitted themselves well (!) with a busy and tiring defamation campaign that lasted for months. They insistently listed their accusations. We owe them a lot (!). We will not forget what they did, what they wrote, what they destroyed and their comments”.

Many journalists, academics and almost all of survey institutes’ executives are placed on the list of names, which is below Bahçeli’s message.

MHP during election campaign

MHP kept its votes to a large extent on June 24 from November 1, 2015 elections.

As Bahçeli kept a low profile campaign during the election, the most striking move of Bahçeli was him asking for amnesty for prisoners, especially for organized crime organization leaders such as Alaattin Çakıcı and Kürşat Yılmaz. (ŞA/TK)
