State of Emergency Chair, Members Become Clear

Chair and members of the State of Emergency Commission, which will evaluate the objections against victimizations caused by the statutory decrees, have been determined after four months. Minister of Justice Deputy Secretary Menteş became the commission chair.

Chair and members of the State of Emergency Commission have been determined.

Minister of Justice Deputy Secretary Selahaddin Menteş became the commission chair. The following members were elected for the commission:

Supreme Court Deputy Secretary General Mehmet Karagöz, Council of State Investigating Judge Murat Aytaç, Chief Civil Inspector Hasan Şıldak, Ministry of Justice General Director of Prisons and Detention Houses Esat Işık, Ministry of National Education Assignment Bureau Chair Mustafa İkbal and State Inspection Board member Salih Tanrıkulu.

The commission was established through the statutory decree No. 685 dated January 23, 2017.

The commission will evaluate the objections against victimizations caused by the statutory decrees. (EKN/TK)
