Turkey's 13th President will be determined with the snap election to be held on June 24, 2018. If absolute majority is not constituted, then the second tour will be held on July 8, 2018.

The election developments that took place on May 23, Wednesday are:

HDP has shared a declaration about the Kurdish question

Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) has shared a declaration about the resolution of Kurdish question.

Pledges such as democratic constitution, ending State of Emergency, education in mother tongue, release of ill prisoners, founding Truth Commission have come to the fore.

500-TL donation by İnce to other candidates

Main opposition party Republican People’s Party (CHP) Presidential candidate Muharrem İnce has donated 500 Turkish Liras to other presidential candidates.

Bahçeli visited Çakıcı

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chair Devlet Bahçeli has visited imprisoned crime organization leader Alaattin Çakıcı, who is serving his time in Keskin Type T Prison and taken to Kırıkkale Yüksek İhtisas Hospital due to his medical condition. (BK/TK)
