'Retweet' detentions: One journalist remanded in custody, three released

Among five journalists who were detained today in house raids, one has been remanded in custody and two have been released with judicial supervision. Proceedings are still underway for two others.
The detentions came after Mezopotamya Ajansı (MA) reporter, Fırat Can Arslan, tweeted about his news report regarding a married judge and prosecutor presiding over the same trial. The other four journalists were detained for retweeting that tweet.
Arslan was arrested on charges of "marking counterterrorism officials as a target." Sibel Yükler, Evrim Deniz and Delal Akyüz were released under judicial supervision. bianet editor Evrim Kepenek is still undergoing legal procedures.
