Protests ahead of minimum wage negotiations: ‘Don’t let it be a wage of misery’

The executives and members of the Progressive Land, Air and Railway Workers Union (Nakliyat-İş) organized a protest in İstanbul’s Taksim and demanded that the minimum wage be increased from 2,825 lira to 6,800 lira (~540 USD).
