JinNews reporter Filiz Zeyrek, who was detained in a house raid conducted in Adana on March 30, was released today (April 12).
As reported by JinNews, her news photographs were cited as the justification for the investigation launched against Filiz Zeyrek, who was among 38 people who were taken into custody in operations conducted in the provinces of İstanbul, Isparta, Mersin, Osmaniye and Mardin.
31 of the 38 detained people were sent to Adana Courthouse today after a 14-day detention period and they were referred to court for arrest.
Zeyrek and other 17 people were released with an international travel ban. The legal procedures against 13 people are still continuing. (ÇT/SD)
