AKP Deputies Comment On the Partys Agenda

Ayar from AKP, Vecdi Gonul could be the prime minister; Dogan from AKP, We will change the healthcare system; Ergun from AKP, Politics have become centralized and table; Gun from CHP, We need to reestablish the moral values we have lost.

Osman Pepe, Eyup Ayar, Nihat Ergun, Muzaffer Bastopcu and Nevzat Dogan from the Justice and Development Party (AKP), and Salih Gun from the Republican People's Party (CHP), who have all been elected deputies, commented on the outcome of the elections.

"It is not important to become a minister," said Osman Pepe, who has been elected a deputy three times one after the other. "Kocaeli's and Turkey's reality got reflected to the polls," he said.

"Vecdi Gonul could become the prime minister"

Eyup Ayar from AKP said Vecdi Gonul could become the prime minister. "The issue about who will become the prime minister could be negotiated together with the president," Ayar said.

Ayar identified "unemployment and high prices" as "problems that need to be urgently solved."

"We will serve our people with their support," he said.

"We will have political stability"

Nihat Ergun from AKP, who ran as a deputy from Derince said, "With AKP, we will maintain political stability."

"Politics have become centralized," said Ergun. "And this is an important reference for the European Union (EU)."

Muzaffer Bastopcu from AKP, who was elected a deputy from Korfez said, "We will base everything we do on our people. The research conducted in Kocaeli University will be a reference for us."

"We will change the healthcare system"

Dr. Nevzat Dogan from AKP, who got elected a deputy from Kocaeli, promised to deal especially with the health problems in the province of Kocaeli when in parliament.

"We will ensure the renovation of hospital buildings and build new hospitals. We will also employ more people and overcome the problem of staff inadequacy. Our priority will be to ensure that there is an adequate number of midwives and nurses in rural areas," said Dogan.

"We will work towards changing the healthcare system," he said.

Salih Gun, a CHP deputy, said the outcome of the elections did not surprise him. Gun emphasized that they will be working in harmony with the AKP deputies from now on.
