IFEX, International Fredom of Expression Campaign Organization, supported Turkey’s recent “standing man” protest in its 18th general council and strategy conference.
Roughly 100 people joined the “standing man” protest during the conference that started on June 17 in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia.
Initiated by IFEX’s Turkey representatives Erol Önderoğlu from IPS Communication Foundation / bianet and Şanar Yurdatapan from Antenna, the protest symbolically lasted 5 minutes. (EÖ/HK/BM)
